Another exclusive (some say unbelievable) HYS benefit is margin elimination. That's right: The cost of one employee at US $10/day will cost the ship owner US $10/day; a box of hatch-bolts purchased by HYS for US $75, will be billed to the owner at US $75. Since we frequently purchase project materials in bulk, any volume discounts we receive are also passed along to the owner.
Can we prove it? Absolutely. Our transparent, cost-to-cost accounting policy means that a comprehensive and detailed record of every nut, bolt, wire and time sheet is submitted to the ship owner at the close of each build phase for their own examination - or those of their accounting team.
