Additional Comments:
This boat is in excellent condition both inside and out and is meticulously maintained through an
on-going management contract, which has been in effect since new. The boat is also fully crewed
and has been since new.
There is a full strict maintenance plan in place covering all equipment from domestic (grease
traps, air-conditioning, grey water systems, water-maker, filters etc.) - through electric,
navigational and mechanical. This is carried out through a daily-cycle systems check over a two
week rotating schedule. Fuel filters are replaced every 50 hours and separator filters are replaced
with the same frequency. These cycles are bet ter than OEM requirements and reflect the careful
consideration of the owner in maintaining the boat in excellent sea-worthiness condition at all
times. Engine corrosion prevention anodes are checked every two weeks and replaced whenever
required. The owner maintains a large inventory of spares again reflecting his desire to have all
systems working at maximum efficiency. All service related work is carried out by the respective
OEM’s for all equipment - with the last recent recommended service for engines and extracapacity
generator being carried out in January 2017. Finally, the boat is hauled-out yearly for full
anti-foul protection renewal, anodes replacement and the checking of propellers and steering
gear.
The Boat recently was subject to a comprehensive survey from industry-leading surveyors
covering all the operating systems and safely equipment onboard. This was conducted in
February 2015 and signs-off the boat for the next two years. This is required as per the terms of
the registration process. All automatic fire-suppressant systems and fire extinguishers - and all
safety equipment including life jackets and breathing apparatus - were checked and verified for
operational effectiveness and found to be both in order and satisfying industry regulations. The
boat also carries a life raft which has just undergone its annual check in June 2017.
On the appearance side the owner insists on keeping the boat in excellent condition with regular
brightening of full teak decks and polishing of all get-coated areas at least monthly. The teak side
decks were replaced with the more robust 15mm teak in 2015 and the remaining 6mm teak areas
were replaced with the 14mm teak in March 2016. The exterior seating is covered with the latest
Princess upholstery andwas re-covered in June 2016. Fender socks are maintained and replaced
as a minimum every six months. On the interior furnishings, the owner maintains a full set of carpet
covers and has factory-ordered replacement carpet and seating material in stock as a result of
his desire to maintain the boat in as factory-new condition as possible.
Finally, the owner is very safety-conscious and carries additional safety equipment including
lamps, replacement bulbs, additional life jackets, gas-monitoring equipment, PLBs, thermal
blankets and two grab-bogs located in both the boat and the tender. He has also equipped the
boat with additional back up charging facilities for the electrical system and extended the anchor
chain from the standard 40m to 80 meters in length.
Overall, this is a fine example of the model and is as near a new boat as once could expect based
on its current condition.
